For those that don’t know (myself included), turnstile is an automatic gate.
You pass through it many times; when using the subway, entering a high-security building or in any other place where someone wants to enforce one-way human traffic. For safe passage, it will ask you for a coin, a ticket, a pass, or some form of ID.
